Install on Apple Devices

After purchasing your DropVPN service, you will receive an email containing your VPN connection details, including:

• Server IP Address
• Username
• Password
• Shared Secret (if provided)

Follow these steps to configure the VPN on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open the Email

Open the welcome email sent by DropVPN and keep it available, as you will need the connection details during setup.

Step 2: Open VPN Settings

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap General.
3. Scroll down and tap VPN & Device Management.
4. Tap VPN.
5. Tap Add VPN Configuration…

Step 3: Enter Your VPN Details

1. Select Type: L2TP.
2. Fill in the fields using the information provided in your DropVPN email:

Enter:

DropVPN

Server

Enter the Server IP Address from your email.

Account

Enter your VPN Username.

Password

Enter your VPN Password.

Secret

Enter the Shared Secret provided in your email.

Send All Traffic

Leave enabled (recommended).

3. Tap Done.

Step 4: Connect to the VPN

1. Return to the VPN screen.
2. Toggle the VPN switch to ON.
3. Wait a few seconds for the connection to establish.

When connected successfully, you will see the VPN icon appear at the top of your iPhone screen.

Troubleshooting

If the VPN does not connect:

• Verify that the Server IP Address was entered correctly.
• Check that the Username and Password match the information in your email.
• Confirm that the Shared Secret was entered exactly as provided.
• Make sure your internet connection is working.
• If you continue experiencing issues, contact DropVPN support and include a screenshot of the error message.
